We carry out a colour consultation prior to starting work on your hair, ensuring that we achieve the colour that you desire. We offer full head colouring as well as highlights, alongside a cut and blow-dry that leaves your hair healthy and ready to take on the world.
Hair Extensions
At Ebony Rose Hair Design, we offer the AWARD WINNING YOVANKA LORIA Hand Tied Weft extensions, specifically coloured to blend in seamlessly with your natural hair.
You can have hand tied wefts to elongate your natural hair or for added thickness to your natural length.
Our method doesn't use harsh glue, chemicals or heat! Meaning you no longer have to choose between having extensions, or healthy hair!
Weft extensions are attached on a halo-like section, with silicone beads. The hair is then applied along the section and sewed into the hair in the beads.
Our wefts are so lightweight and evenly distributed that you won't get any tension or snagging on your natural hair.

Balancing beauty with environmental responsibility takes a bit of thought, and it’s something we take incredibly seriously here at Ebony Rose Hair Design.
We've come up with some initiatives that we're really proud of, including only using non-toxic products (we’re a huge fan of Kevin Murphy’s gorgeous concoctions) as well as eco showerheads that actively reduce water and energy usage by 65%. We even donate any linens that are just past their best to our furry friends at Paws Darwin.
Every member of our team understands they have a responsibility to work in an environmentally-conscious way in order to make a difference to our impact on the planet.

Community goes beyond our little corner of the world though and we’re delighted to be part of the One Chair One Child initiative. This is a super simple way to have a positive impact on the lives of children in developing countries. Being part of this registered charity means we can sponsor a child, improving their access to healthcare, education, clean water, and food. It’s a simple way for us, and our clients, to help make the world a better place.

One Booking One Birth
For every booking in our salon, we help provide 15 minutes maternity care for safe births in Uganda.
We are helping to ensure that all women in the Otuke District region have access to the best maternity care to bring their newborns safely into this world.
Sometimes a skilled pair of hands to help mothers and newborns around the time of birth, can make the difference between life and death. In Uganda, 16 women die per day because of complications related to pregnancy and childbirth.
